Have you ever stopped and looked around at the world today and felt like everything is completely backwards?
When I was growing up, we were taught a basic set of morals. There was a shared understanding of right and wrong, of respect, and of integrity. Now, it feels like those morals aren’t just being tweaked—they are being completely inverted right in front of our eyes. We are living in an upside-down world.
The book of Isaiah (5:20) warns us about a time when people will call evil good and good evil, when they will put darkness for light and light for darkness. If you want to know whether we are already living in the end times, you don’t need to look much further than that verse. We are deep in the Age of Deception, and the enemy isn’t even hiding his hand anymore.
It didn’t happen overnight. That’s how deception works—it happens little by little, degree by degree, until you don’t even recognize where you started.
Look at our language and our music. Growing up, my mom swore, and we heard it here and there, sure—some of the music back then had disturbing themes—but swearing in public was still taboo. People watched their mouths. There was still beauty and artistry in music. Now? Everything is hypersexualized and vulgar. We went from actual music to songs like Cardi B’s “WAP” being blasted everywhere as “empowerment.” Just stop and picture our generation in a nursing home decades from now, grandkids walking in to visit while “WAP” is playing in the background. It sounds ridiculous, right? Because deep down, we know it has no substance.
Look at how we treat our bodies and our relationships. When I was younger, modesty mattered. You were taught to protect yourself and respect your body as a temple. Today, culture tells you to show off as much skin as possible and wears promiscuity like a badge of honor. And if you dare to have boundaries in a relationship? You’re the problem. We live in a society where if your partner is ogling other people—cheating with their eyes and their heart—and you speak up about it, you get labeled “toxic” or “insecure.” Anyone who is truly bound in Christ and has a heart for the Lord knows that lusting after others isn’t part of a healthy relationship. Yet today, standing up for basic loyalty and integrity gets you the worst lashings. It doesn’t pay to be good anymore.

People don’t even want real relationships anymore. We’ve replaced covenant and soul-level connection with “talking stages” and “situationships.” Everything has become transactional. We swipe, we use, we discard. Nobody cares how they make other people feel because selfishness has become the new normal. We are living entirely for the flesh instead of the spirit.
Why? Because that is the devil’s exact endgame.
His entire goal is to disconnect us from Christ, from each other, and from our own souls. Look at how miserable people actually are. Beneath all the filters and the bragging, it feels like everybody secretly hates themselves and hates everyone around them. That is the fruit of a culture built on the flesh. That is actually the whole reason I created Self Image Magazine in the first place—because I want to reach people in the middle of this mess. I want people to wake up, love themselves the way God intended, and step into the purpose they were actually created for.
To do that, though, we have to confront a hard truth: You have probably been lied to your whole life.
Most people walk around with massive cognitive dissonance. It is too painful for their brains to accept that the systems they trust have bamboozled them. From the moment we enter the education system, we are fed half-truths and flat-out lies designed to keep us compliant and spiritually blind. Then we go home and turn on the news or scroll on our phones, where the indoctrination continues 24/7.

Think about how hard the media works to keep us divided. They want to put everyone into neat little boxes: “You have this skin color, so you must think this way. They have that skin color, so they are your enemy.”
It’s a trap. The truth is, no two people on this earth are the exact same. We may share similarities, skin tones, or religions, but every single human being has their own mind, their own perspective, and their own soul. In reality, the individual is the ultimate minority. When they trick us into categorizing each other into broad groups and fighting over labels, we lose our humanity—and we lose our collective power.

While we are down here fighting each other, who is actually pulling the strings?
Whether you call them the elites, the fallen angels, the lizard people, or simply principalities of darkness, the truth remains the same: the people in power are working for the opposition. They are working for the devil. They control the narratives on our TVs, the algorithms on our phones, and the lessons in our schools. Every single bit of it is engineered to attack what is good for our bodies and our souls, keeping us distracted by materialism and division so we never look up and seek Jesus.

If you have never been the type of person to look into “conspiracy theories,” now is the time to start paying attention. Because at the end of the day, the biggest conspiracy isn’t political—it’s spiritual.
Everything we see in the mainstream right now is a carefully crafted illusion, mixed with just enough partial truth to make you swallow the poison. In the Age of Deception, you cannot afford to believe everything you hear or follow the crowd. You have to know who you are, know whose you are, and see this world for what it actually is. Stay awake, guard your soul, and refuse to call evil good.
